Entry #2. Animation.

 Have you ever been playing a video game or watching an animated film and wondered how it’s done? How something so unique could create an impact on society? 

Animation, from the moment I learned what it meant, has captured my attention. It transfers its audience into a world of imagination, possibilities and creativity. From the mesmerizing motion of hand drawn characters to absolutely stunning computer-generated imagery, animation has evolved into an art form that continues to push the boundaries of unique storytelling. 

Though aside from animation making an impact on tv shows or movies, animation also plays a crucial part in video games. It transforms them into immersive and visually stunning experiences. Like never before, animation brings video games to life. An animator’s job in a video game (and even in films) is to create a world you can get lost in. It sparks join into the audience and even unites the audience all around the globe. 

Through cutscenes and in game animations, developers can convey narrative arcs, develop characters and essentially establish the game’s entire atmosphere and aesthetic. 

Animation requires the utmost intricate detail to bring the characters and world to life. Throughout the years and as time goes on, animation gets more and more defined with newer technology advancing with its CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). The world of animation is constantly changing and evolving as technology advances and new artistic innovations are created.

As we move forward, the future of animation holds an endless number of possibilities.
